Housekeeper (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to work 20 hours per week to support us in creating spotless, welcoming spaces for our students. You’ll be maintaining cleanliness and supporting health and safety practices to ensure our buildings are always looking their best.

This role does require flexibility during our busy periods, so some weekend and evening working is required, but we expect most working hours will be Monday to Friday and we’re happy to discuss hours of work to find a balance that meets your needs and ours. If you’d like to have an informal chat with our Multi-Site Manager, Agnes, please contact her at Agnes.Bajdor@hellostudent.co.uk or call on 07442617129.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing a customer service focus to create a “home from home” community and support our customers with understanding best practice when it comes to keeping their home clean and tidy.
• Keep buildings clean, safe, and well maintained, oversee cleaning schedules, manage cleaning consumables and stock levels and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Engage with local communities through volunteer work, participate in charity events, promote recycling, energy saving and other echo friendly practices, and be a champion for positive social and environmental change.

Who you are:

• Previous experience in a housekeeping role
• COSHH training (or a willingness to learn)
• Friendly and dependable with a hard-working attitude
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends during busy periods
